HAPPY ANNIVERSARY:)

So me and my boyfriend are going away weekend after this one, to celebrate our anniversary:)
I always buy new underwear for anniversaries and birthdays, so i hit Ann Summers:)  I found some beautiful items but nothing that really stood out- nothing that grabbed me.
Then i went to La Senza

Now i have had an issue with La Senza before. a few years ago i had to go up a cup size because their sizing was ridiculous, then after they went bust, the only sold cups sizes B and above. It really irritates me that lots of brands now accommodate sizes DD plus but they forget there are a few of us who are VERY small. I have never seen a bra company specially for small breasts, but i have heard of loads for larger breasted women. Likewise lots of plus sized clothing ranges, but nothing for people for example size 4? although many shops now offer size 6, still A cup bras are impossible to find, surely if there are more skinny minnies in size 6 clothes there must be other people with small breast? Or are we all silicone these days- size 6 and D cup breasts? Anyway i digress...

La Senza's new collections are great! more expensive than they used to be but much better quality and the designs are beautiful, very pretty but VERY bright. iv bought this set for me and Aaron to enjoy next weekend- isn't it great!

Lavish Alice

Cant say enough about this brand, if you haven't heard of it- please check it out!
Really great pieces but for such good prices! These are my personal choices!

This dress reminds me of the Minnies Boutique one i saw this weekend, but MUCH cheaper! iv got a thing about red- and who doesn't love glitter- definitely will be treating myself to this!

This embellished t-shirt is uber cool. I love how something so simple can be made into something different...thinking about going out and buying lots of studs to do this to my own shirts...

As i said... i love red:) plus i have always been a huge fan of velvet. the thing that i really love though, is the back is a cut out of a love heart:) how cute!

Nails

As you will soon gather- i love nail art!
I recently bought the konad nail set, its amazing, ill do a little review for you guys next time i do my nails with it:)
But even simple nail art can look great.
I did my nails the other day like this so i thought i would share it with you:)

I used a maybelline black nail varnish, the 40 second one. Not even kidding it is so quick to dry! Usually they say 60 seconds but its more like 5 minutes, this genuinly dries THAT quick! Plus you only need one coat- bonus!
I also used foil effect by Barry M in gold- such a good nail varnish epecially for the price!!!

As you can see its essentially just a french tip but with colour. I think it looks really effective and im definately doing it again! Maybe next time ill do lots of gold stripes? who knows:)

PS. excuse the obscene amounts of Hello Kitty. If theres anything i love more than doing my nails.... its Hello Kitty.

Moving....

Hi guys!
So iv had this blog on Tumblr for a while, but i thought i would move it over to here instead! I will probably keep the tumblr going as its a useful site for finding beautiful fashion and photography images.

Its funny how fashion works. Trends, i mean. For example even with these blogs! i used to use Blogger a lot! then all of a sudden other sites became more popular, like Tumblr. Now it seems all the fashion bloggers i subscribe to and regularly read are all on blogger again!

This all kind of links in with some of my university work at the moment. I am doing a photo shoot for i-D magazine based of diversity. i wanted to to do Tattoos and Piercings because its something that interests me quite a lot! Its funny how once this was seen as quite diverse, and im sure to some older generation it still is- for example my parents would freak if they knew i wanted more ink! but it is slowly becoming more acceptable.  Nicola Formichetti kind of adopted Rick Genest as his muse, having a muse and a model working for you who is different is a good way to set yourself apart from the rest of the fashion pack. now rick is the face of Thiery Mugler! However im starting to notice more and more tattooed models in the fashion industry, for example just on the Topman website, if you look at the shirt section, the model has a tattoo on his arm. Tattoos are becoming less diverse and far more fashionable. As part of my article i want to look at the trends within tattoos- do women tend to get certain images and men others? Certainly off the top of my head i can think of 2 big trends tattoo wise- firstly about 10 celebrities got that "shh" on their fingers- well iv seen about another 30 people on facebook get that done too. Likewise when Rihanna got her stars on her neck, suddenly star tattoos were increasingly popular. (on further research it turns out Rihanna also has the "Shh" tattoo!) It seems anything can be made into a trend- i wonder whats next.
