My name is Kayla Baird, i am just finishing my three year Fashion Promotion and Communication degree at Southampton Solent University and am seeking full time employment as of June 2014.

My degree has given me relevant knowledge of various areas within the fashion industry, from PR and marketing, buying and merchandising, social media and ecommerce as well as design and styling. I am open to trying all fields of employment and hope to continue learning throughout my career.

I am a dedicated, articulate, enthusiastic, hard working individual with a desire to achieve. I thrive on a challenge and love to learn new things. I am a believer in doing a task right first time and to the required deadline. I am a team player but also work well individually and I channel myself into any task set before me. I am creative but also have good copy writing skills. I work well under pressure, as meeting deadlines have always been a part of my academic and working life. I am responsible for my own work as well as being able to demonstrate leadership where required.  I have great administrative and organisational skills gained through previous employment, which i feel would be beneficial for any role. I am conversant with both windows and apple operating systems, and have good knowldege of adobe applications such as Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
