After seeing J-Lo's Grammy dress, i wanted ot know more about the designer. The dress was designed by Anthony Vaccarello, brussels born fashion designer. He designs around a manequin, using draping rather than the traditional pattern making technique. When discussing his designs he said "Maybe because I’m half-Italian and half-Belgian, I strive for both a kind of sensuality and a control and construction.”
The pieces are very carefully tailored and ooze sex appeal. While the use of cut aways increase the amount of flesh on show, it is done in a classy way. I think the garments are beautiful, and many celebrities do too.
