Wow- Film Inspired Makeup

I saw these images online and had to share them with you all.

A photographer turned make-up artist, named Eva Senin Pernas has created these looks in homage to popular films.
These "Lip Looks" certainly turn heads.
They combine lipsticks, liners, eyeliner and coloured pwders, embellished with gems and glitters.

Hunger Games

Harry Potter

The Lion King (Note the teeny tiny tree against the sunset)

Tim Burtons Night Before Christmas

Breakfast at Tiffanys

And as well as ones based on well known films, these two are also pretty cool

This shows a police tape and faint blood stained finger prints

And forget galaxy print nails, how about galaxy print lips?

Would you try any of these? I am not sure i am brave enough to try on a daily basis, but should a themed party occur or halloween i would definately try this out! It is one way to do fancy dress in a unique way.

What do you think?

H+M Conscious Exclusive

So i made a trip to London last week to do a bit of brand research for my university project. Of course i did a little shopping while out too.. it would be rude not to!
I hit Oxford Street and popped into H+M, they recently added another Conscious collection, part of their eco friendly range, fronted by Vanessa Paradis. I have to say usually i find highs street eco ranges to be very bland, as if they focused purely on making it eco, and ignoring the style completely. However this range was bright and bold, and although it wasn't to my taste, and wasn't a style i would wear, i could appreciate it and the range was very fashionable.
Then as i left the store i saw something that really grabbed me. In the window there was a big poster of the most gorgeous dress, and a sign saying that a few days later a new Conscious range would be launched, the Exclusive range.
These are a few pieces from the range

I first heard stirrings about this range a while back, when Michelle Williams was spotted wearing a h+M dress on the Red Carpet. Seemingly she was ahead of the game as it was actually apiece from this collection.

Ignoring the eco factor, these pieces are beautiful, so beautifully cutI with gorgeous sensual colours. So i have to say, i am super impressed that it is also eco friendly.
H&M’s Head of Design Ann-Sofie Johansson said: ‘For us at H&M, it’s natural to think about sustainability, and to have it at the heart of our work.

What do you think about the range?

    Style crush- Sarah Jessica Parker

Hello fellow bloggers and readers! Sorry i have been a little absent. Last week it was Sarah Jessica Parker's birthday, and in (a little belated) tribute i wanted to share my favourite of her fashion moments.
    1999

Tight white bustier with black shorts, worn at the American Fashion awards.
    So very 90's.

    2000
Pink prom dress worn at the Emmys, while up for nomination for Sex in the City

    2004
This is a beautiful Chanel dress, tight bodice with sweetheart neckline, with a lace dipped hem skirt.

     2005
Sag awards in a gorgeous 50's style polka dot dress.

    2005
At the launch of her first fragrance, at Harvey Nichols
Such a simple dress design, but the little frills at the hem make it oh-so-cute.

    2007
A very strange shaped little red dress, but on her tiny figure, she can get away with anything.

    2007
Geometric print strapless dress at the premiere of the Bee Movie. The colours are very appropriate!

    2008
This dress is simply iconic! Her beloved Alexander McQueen mixed with a bit of Philip Tracey. The Sex and the City the Movie  London premiere.

    2003
    Marchesa
Wow! the fabrics here look so delicate, almost like a spiders web, or puffs of black smoke.

    2008
I never thought i would love anything made out of a shiny silver material, but this looks beautiful. Worn at the Sex in the City the Movie New York premiere.

    2010
I also never thought lemon yellow could look good but she really pulls it of! I love the one shoulder look too. This Valentino dress was worn to the premiere for the second Sex in the City Movie.

    2010
A classic day Burberry outfit for Fashion Week.

    2013
Unusual for someone to wear a jumpsuit on the red carpet, but this velvet piece certainly doesn't look out of place. Worn at the BAFTAs

    2006
With Alexander McQueen, wearing one of his designs. How amazing must it be to have walked into a building, matching Lee McQueen!
